If you’re looking for a more economical option, we recommend installing a hybrid system, which combines the best of a furnace and a heat pump. The heat pump is able to effectively cool and heat the home; if additional heat is needed, the heat pump will shut down and allow the furnace to take over. All you have to do is set the thermostat to a specific outdoor temperature. Because a heat pump can both cool and heat your property at a lower cost, hybrid systems are extremely budget-friendly.
