A. Fagundes Plumbing & Heating Inc. is currently seeking an HVAC install technician with at least five years of field experience to assist our customers’ needs.

Job responsibilities include:

• Replace any heating, air conditioning, or refrigeration equipment or complete systems
• Install new duct systems
• Test pipe or duct joints and other connections for leaks
• Join pipes or duct joints to the equipment and the fuel, water, or refrigerant source to form a complete circuit
• Install WiFi thermostats, humidifiers, and other IAQ products
• Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications
• Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures, and maintain a clean work area
• Obtain and maintain required certifications
• Interact and communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers
• Arrive on time for work each day and manage time accordingly
• Participate in all required staff meetings and trainings

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following skills and experience:

Successful completion of a certified HVAC installation training program and apprenticeship

• Knowledge of HVAC codes and proper application, as well as proper electrical and HVAC safety
• EPA certification
• Experience or a license for working with an oil burner is a plus
• Must possess the hand tools necessary to complete an HVAC installation
• Must have experience installing HVAC equipment and complete systems

• Must have a current driver’s license and a good driving record because the job requires driving a company vehicle to customers’ homes and businesses
• Must have 5 years of experience doing installs
• Must be outgoing, professional, clean-cut, assertive, and drug-free
• Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Must work cooperatively as part of a team environment
